About ASBMAPT

The Asian Society of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Technology (ASBMAPT) aims to provide a dedicated forum for scientists and research scholars to collaborate on scientific solutions for societal challenges. Our annual meetings will offer members and fellows a platform to share their expertise and publish research, with a specific focus on supporting young scientists. Additionally, the association plans to organize symposia, seminars, and workshops covering current developments in biology and pharmacy. We will regularly publish the proceedings from these events to help disseminate research and address challenges associated with publishing in reputable journals.

Aims and Objectives

• Promotion of Science and Technology: Advancing various fields within Biomedical Sciences and Pharmaceutical technology.
  
• Knowledge Sharing: Organizing meetings and conferences on scientific issues and publishing relevant proceedings, journals, and transactions.
  
• Research Development: Promoting scientific research focused on problems of national interest.
  
• Public and Technological Advancement: Executing scientific work of public importance through established committees.
  
• Global Cooperation: Partnering with similar organisations in India and abroad and appointing representatives to national and international bodies.
  
• Financial Management: Securing and managing funds and endowments to support the society’s mission.
  
• National Impact: Establishing regional chapters in cities across the country to expand our scientific reach.
  
• Institutional Regulation: Maintaining the institution while encouraging educational, literary, and cultural activities.
  
• National Development: Promoting unity, discipline, and patriotism through scientific and social development programs.
  
• Member Support: Fostering community among members and maintaining a library of periodicals and scientific literature.
  
• Information Dissemination: Collecting and distributing critical information related to Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Technology.
  

Rules and Regulations

Constitution

The Society shall consist of Honorary Fellows, Fellows and Members.

a) Fellows: There shall be Fellows and Honorary Fellows. The Fellow will be elected on the basis of distinguished contribution in Biomedical Science and Pharmaceutical Technology including promotion and development and service towards the development of Biomedical Science. The procedure for election of fellows will be laid down by the regulations constituted by the council of association. Fellowship will become only effective after the payment of subscription.

b) Honorary Fellows: Honorary Fellows will be elected by the Council of the Asian Society on a restricted basis for their most distinguished service to the cause of science.   And some of the foreign scientists who have contact with Indian scientists and contributing for the development of science will also be considered as Honorary Fellows. 

(c) Members shall be open to all persons with graduate or equivalent academic qualifications and interested in advancement of science in India will be enrolled in accordance with the regulations of the Association.  The life membership will be a member for life. The annual membership will become due on 1st April every year.
